Originally called "Sixty Suva Sound Sketches and some Sea Shanties in Six Weeks"- a pile of improvised sketches - Recorded by SnakeBeings in Suva City, Fiji (Lacala Studios) Centrepoint shops Suva, between 1st January 2022 & 24th February 2022 on Zoom R8 (8 track mini recorder). First draft of mixing down during the week of 24th February during week of M.I.Q. isolation in So Hotel, Auckland CBD. All sixty mixed in a week. Archive of instruments collected inFiji, including Tabla set, maladjusted Sitar, ciruit bent oscillator from a Dwali lighting controller, Homemade Morsecode Key, Casio keyboard and numerous bells, bowls and sardine cans. |
